I believe that working individually with students allows them to achieve their goals in a more timely, streamlined fashion. After ten years of tutoring Spanish for all stages of the speaking process, I understand the roadblocks that make learning a new language difficult. I will tell you a little secret of my own: I failed my first year of high school Spanish. It almost crushed me, but I kept working hard and eventually passed. Then I attended Doane College. Now all these years later, I work as a Spanish interpreter and translator. I know firsthand what it takes to overcome learning challenges and succeed in a subject that doesn't come easy. Having worked with students of all ages, I know it's never too early or too late to study a whole new tongue. I only accept the best efforts from my students.Two of my favorite things to do include baking and cooking. All that time in the kitchen means I need to stay active, and I do so via hiking, running, and Zumba. Hiking is another pastime I enjoy, especially as I love to travel. When on the road here or overseas, hiking offers a phenomenal way to explore an area.
